36th BCVS Grand Raid
The Grand Raid BCVS, the Swiss Mountain Bike Marathon, has been thrilling cyclists since 1990. This marathon will take you from Verbier to Grimentz. It is recognized as one of the most challenging high-mountain mountain bike races. Located in the heart of the Valais Alps, in an alpine playground, the route winds through various valleys, reaching its highest point at Le Pas de Lona, at an altitude of over 2,700 meters.

Neutralization Time
Runners who fail to pass through the mandatory checkpoints along the course will be disqualified for safety reasons.

Informations for spectators
E-bike Category
The e-bike route is identical to the official route, including the section through Pas de Lona.
Information:
- We recommend using 3 batteries when departing from Verbier.
- Batteries may only be replaced at the designated service stations along the course, which are located at the same spots as the aid stations.
- Riders are responsible for organizing their own battery transport on the course – it is strictly forbidden to carry a battery with you during the race.
- There are no podium awards planned for this category.
BATTERY RETURN: August 22, 2026 in Grimentz from 6:00 pm (in the runners’ luggage area) or from Monday, August 24, 2026 at the Grand Raid BCVS office in Granges (Route du Moulin 44).
